Friday marked the completion of micro asphalt works to improve the footways around Leegomery Pools. #prideinourcommunity

It's that time of year where our dual carriageway maintenance works take place around the borough. Some of our main focuses are: carriageway repairs, barrier repairs, street lighting, gully cleaning, road sweeping, litter picking, sign cleaning, hedge cutting and tree felling.

We are currently undertaking micro asphalt works to improve the footways on Teresa Way, Apley including the surrounding cul-de-sacs. Works are progressing well with Cavell Close & Curie Croft already complete. #prideinourcommunity

As part of a package of crossings being installed throughout Oakengates, we have completed our first crossing on Canongate. A new crossing has been installed, along with widening the footway to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists. #prideinourcommunity
