According to PEW research, this is the data that came out in 2020 regarding US parents and phone use. I'm not shocked by it, really, because if you just go to a restaurant, you see all these kids sitting on devices while the adults talk.

If we're constantly giving a lot of negative, we'll get a lot of negative in return.
It's amazing how positive talk and getting involved can lead to open communication just by them feeling valued.
Maybe it's time for a shift in how we communicate with our tween and teens.
