(1/7) Up until the age of one Oscar was a happy healthy baby. When he turned one he started to become poorly. After a few months and several trips to the GP Oscar was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma.

(2/7) We immediately began treatment in Jupy 2016 which was a very intensive 18 month plan of chemotherapy, surgery, stem cell recovery, radiotherapy and finally immunotherapy.

(3/7) Despite everyone being hopeful as Oscar was so well at the end of treatment his scans showed a change in his disease and his doctors suspected relapse. In February this year it was confirmed by biopsy.

(4/7) Oscar started treatment on the Beacon Trial at Manchester Children's Hospital but unfortunately we found out at the end of April that he was not responding to the treatment.

(5/7) There is currently no protocol for relapsed neuroblastoma. Treatments are available in clinical trials.

(6/7)We are currently looking to enlist Oscar on a CART cell trial at GOSH, however should this fall through or should further treatment be required after (very likely) we will probably have to consider treatment options abroad which could run into hundreds of thousands of pounds

(7/7) Oscar is a happy child,a big brother to his twin brother&sister who he loves spending time with.He enjoys paw patrol and popping bubbles.We want to give him the best chance to grow up and beat this horrible disease,we have seen far too many gorgeous children lost to it.

Another day in Addenbrookes!Inpatient now for 6 weeks but hoping to make it home this week!Oscar is now receiving a blood transfusion (thank to everyone who donates blood and platelets-you are lifesavers!) which will hopefully perk him up! #TeamOscarBear
