I just experienced the worst customer service experience in my life from americanair on a flight coming home from Barcelona. After confirming my upgraded seat, being handed a ticket and boarding the plane I was kicked out of my seat for another passenger. The staff screamed

at me when I asked for a reasonable explanation, and proceeded to insist that I needed to move seats or I’d be kicked off the plane. I fly 50-70 times a year on American and today has convinced me to switch to Delta at the end of 2023.
