WHY IS THIS SCHOOL OPEN

My school IS 228 in district 21 currently has over 30 confirmed cases of COVID-19, but despite admins best efforts NYC Public Schools refuses to enact a closure to control the spread. This is Mayor Eric Adams legacy and we haven’t forgot the education workers who died because of his inaction.

We stand by our Administration and Staff, their health and the health of our children is more important then the Mayor and Chancellors agenda. To those in the Situation Room- Close IS 228 NOW.
