In the framework of #EUROVOLC, Researchers of Faculty of Science | UNIGE (C. Bonadonna and V. Freret-Lorgeril), in association with #INVOLCAN, investigated the application of optical disdrometers (pictures) to determine the tephra Grain-Size Distribution and Sedimentation Rate in real time.
