Prof. Lawson's contributions to Stop TB Partnership Nigeria and to end TB in the country are immeasurable and still continue even till date. His death was a tremendous loss to the TB community in Nigeria and the world.

Prof. Lawson was a great human being, always on the move - on the move to improve TB diagnostics and treatment; on the move to innovate; and on the move to end TB! He was a great advisor, a mentor, a true friend and a big inspiration. We still miss him.
