#TBAPS are the UK distributor for #ISOmat , Slovenia. We have recently used these products internally to lag the steam pipes supplying our impregnation line. Doing this will reduce heat losses and save money when coating our #FortaFire and thermal insulation fabrics.

Isomat Mineral Wool Pipe Sections with extremely durable and protective low vapour permeability aluminium foil, prevent condensation problems and help to provide effective vapour control.

For simple closure the pipe sections are provided with a double-sided adhesive tape with finger lift. A really simple system to install, even our director Mark Lineker could manage to do it. As can be seen we have plenty in stock for immediate delivery

On Lancashire Day it's worth mentioning the recent work done between two venerable Lancashire institutions. #TBAPS had our #FortaFire passive flexible fire barrier system tested for it's acoustic properties at Salford University's excellent acoustic testing centre.

A creditable result was achieved , 23dB in isolation or 85% of incident sound eliminated + 39dB in combination with plasterboard ,virtual elimination of incident sound. Proving that #FortaFire combines fire + thermal insulation properties with excellent acoustic shielding.
