His last take is so telling of the rank narcissism in academia. Preoccupied with your work? Try reading the 50 pages on establishing a new methodology and distance scale with JWST and which has no mention of you or any of the objectively sloppy analyses you’ve published.

It's really a shame to see SH0ES unblinding to the level that they enumerate an H0 per object. I suppose they can and will always get the value they want that way!

Taylor (@taylorjhoyt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

SH0ES sepeatedly refer to "JWST F115W CCHP", yet don't reference my paper which is in fact the exact source of those distances. Hmm. Can't say I'm surprised given the constant (lack of) accurate literature review in SH0ES publications.

Notice how after five years and endless bashing, scooping, and attacking me and the CCHP TRGB in Reid+19, Yuan+19, Li+2??, Soltis+21, Anand+22 (and more) they now just use our TRGB zero point. This isn't science.

A particular contemporary (they know who they are) should probably stop blatantly plagiarizing my written work. It's so obvious it just looks sad.

SH0ES have just systematically shifted their Cepheid distances closer by -0.04mag with their addition of JWST data, but we are supposed to believe their total quoted H0 uncertainty of 0.026 mag... How are people believing this nonsense?

An egg-cellent new view from Hubble is here! 🍳 This is the clearest image yet of the Egg Nebula, showing a light show around a rapidly dying star. At 1,000 light-years away, it offers a rare opportunity to test theories of late-stage stellar evolution: go.nasa.gov/4bGzbfP
