Nothing better illustrates what a malignant and dishonest activity climate crisis denial is, and how climate crisis denying cheerleaders, such as Bjorn Lomborg, are totally disingenuous and dishonest. I'm going to dismantle this malignant propaganda, piece by piece. 1/🧡

The obvious signs of #ClimateChange are all around us, the warnings are staring us in the face, we just choose to ignore them. It’s people’s hearts and minds that need to be illuminated if we are to tackle the #ClimateCrisis bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

It's quite something to see copies of the agreements and directives that give shape to refugee governance. It leaves little space for passivity. A study on policy directives used for Rohingyas in BD is wrapping up after 1+ year. Excited to share soon! CPJ BRACU The Asia Foundation

Has anyone felt an uncomfortable pang in their bodies citing someone whose work is phenomenal but personality - not so much? Anxiety-inducing, yell-y, who's brushes off any opinion that does not align with their views? Academic Chatterβ„’ #AcademicTwitter #AcademicChatter

#ClimateMigration is happening now. Climate change impacts global temperatures, causing severe droughts and wildfires. It reshapes human mobility in different ways, driving millions away from their homes & communities. We need #ClimateAction today.

Recording this #podcast episode, with local researchers from the Middle East and Africa, was as fun as it was enlightening. Always learning with XCEPT Research, pushing forward the agenda of #localisation. A great space to share the incredible work CPJ BRACU is doing!

#Rohingya #refugees now receive $8/month ration - 33% less food than 6 months ago. With very limited ways to make a living, life is becoming increasingly difficult. Sustained international support & new approaches are urgently needed to avert a food crisis.

The report’s finally out! #Bangladesh continues to host a million #Rohingya, adhering to the principle of non-refoulement, but 6 years on #refugeegovernance is still informal & reactionary. We find existing mechanisms strained and unfit to address long-term needs of the Rohingya.

Raising money for emergency relief. Hundreds of fires have burnt #rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar over the years but early reports suggest this is the biggest one yet Pls DM if you can donate and funds will go immediately to refugee led relief efforts while humanitarians mobilize.
