اللّهُـمَّ أَعِـنِّي عَلـى ذِكْـرِكَ وَشُكْـرِك، وَحُسْـنِ عِبـادَتِـك Allâhumma a'innî 'alâ dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni 'ibâdatik(a) O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best of manners.

Almighty! Keep us safe & surround us with those who will constantly remind us of You. Help us choose the right company like-minded people who will not distract us away from our journey towards You. Guide us in all that we do; all the way to Paradise. Aameen.

You can be a kind and caring person who respects people’s needs and still set healthy boundaries for your own well-being. Learn when to walk away and when to work things out. You can’t control how people treat you but you can control what you tolerate.

Keep your distance from those who constantly want to update you on situations you have outgrown. Tell them politely, you’re no longer interested. If they cannot respect that, it’s time to let them go, minimising future contact. Remember, your peace is everything.

The world is one big distraction. Ask the Almighty to keep us away from things which make us lose focus. Have the courage to say no. No more living to please people. Don’t worry about what others think, no more fighting battles that don’t matter. Time to get back on track.

What is this life but a journey. You’ll see people come & go. Some will be gems, others will disappoint you. Promises will be made & broken. Dreams turn into nightmares. Whatever happens, take it in your stride, knowing the Almighty planned it & will see you through it.

The Almighty has created you for a purpose not for popularity. You’re not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay. Not everyone will like you and that’s okay too. Strive to please your Creator, not the creation. You’ll never be good enough for people. That’s the nature of life.

Never be ashamed of the scars as a result of your journey. It’s testimony that you’ve conquered the pain, learnt your lesson and emerged stronger for it. Don’t allow your scars to hold you hostage. See them in a positive light. See them as a sign of strength to do even better.

Don’t be afraid to say no. If you can’t do something, say it. If you can’t fit it to your schedule, say no. You can’t do what you’re supposed to do to the best of your ability if you’re overwhelmed. Stop trying to please everyone. Your well-being matters as well.

Don’t let them make you believe that loving yourself is selfish. It’s not. It’s necessary. When you love yourself, you have more to offer others. Above all, be yourself. The Almighty has made you in the best possible way and if they don’t like it, they can move on.

Reward yourself every time you avoid a sin you'd normally do.

Be mindful of toxic people around you. Those who come in to lower your self-esteem. Those who come into your life & leave you worse off than you were before. They hinder your growth & cause you misery. Learn to spot them. Don’t get involved with them. Say a prayer for them.

Almighty. Grant us relief from stress and worry, knowing You’re in control. Take away all the anxiety and grant us peace. Help us grow our faith and dependence on You and no one else. Aameen.

Sometimes your own company is better than being surrounded by fake people!

Never feel like you have to go it alone. The Almighty is always there in both good and bad times. You’ll never have to face anything on your own as long as you call out to Him. He’s there waiting for you to turn back to Him. Do it today.

Islam teaches us - To be humble, but not weak. - To be merciful, but not naïve. - To be strong, but not arrogant.

The solution to every problem is Sabr and istagfhar.

Learn to say no to people who mess with your head. The ones who keep doing things intentionally to upset you. The ones who always play the victim even though it’s obvious they’re wrong. The ones who expect you to prioritise them but won’t do the same for you. Avoid them.

When things get too complicated and you don’t understand what’s going on in your life, keep a heart full of trust and keep moving forward. The Almighty knows! Don’t listen to the naysayers. In time, things will get clearer.
