We were honored to be a part of the 3rd Annual Erath County Peace Officers Memorial Service to pay tribute to Texas peace officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as National Peace Officers Memorial Day. Today we pay tribute to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving their communities.

On this Memorial Day, we pay tribute to and remember our brave heroes who gave their lives while fighting for our freedom.

After 31 years of service, Sgt. Chili Alexander is retiring at the end of the month. Chili is a familiar face to many students, faculty, staff, alumni & community members. We appreciate his dedication to the TSU Police Department and wish him all the best in his next role.
