“A more accurate model is often more useful for tuning configuration”. Our recent TSE paper IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering challenges this general belief and show that it can be misleading: ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/docum…. We need better model evaluation that goes beyond accuracy!
