Cllr Jo Howcroft -Scott 🌹🇺🇦 ♿️ Friends of Rochester Churchfields & Esplanade I researched Vera's story. Despite a lifetime campaigning for women’s rights & publishing 3 novels, her occupation on her death certificate is ‘Spinster Daughter of Lewis Conway-Gordon Colonel H.M. Army (Deceased)'🤦‍♀️ She deserves to be better remembered!! #SuffrageSensoryGarden
