To incoming Med/Peds and FM interns: be wary of acronyms that might be used differently in IM and ped/OB spheres. Eg turns out when Rheum wants to “get MFM on board”, they aren’t asking for a Maternal Fetal Medicine consult for your 72 year old male patient
