Carlton fwd coach: Just bomb it in there! Players: Can we have some structure and work on some decoy and alternate options. Carlton fwd coach: Yeah, nah, just bomb it in there! #AFLBluesSaints

Carlton haven’t won their last match of the Home and Away season since 2013. That’s mentality over anything. Gut wrenching. I can’t believe we’ve found ourselves in this kind of heartbreak twice in three years. Chances were there all year and we didn’t take them. 💔

Well there you go. Was waiting for a late charge from Freo to deny us. We have an opportunity. 💙 Facing a road trip with close to zero expectation… let’s get as many players as fit as we can, and see them put in maximum effort. Whatever happens, happens. Go Blues!!!

It's a two-horse race, so there is hope. But can't say there's a lot of expectation. TdK sub is a bit WTF too. But, let's see… GO BLUES!!!

Easy to say this in hindsight, of course, but team selection was a bit iffy and TdK as sub will never make sense to me. Oh well. We need to see some pride in the jumper, at the very least.

Final score being a bit respectable doesn't matter after giving them a 60pt start. We buggered up team selection earlier in the week and on the night. Need to work on our F50 method and develop better ways to create and find open space. And need to stop conceding high scores.
