There were days we used to have Van Persie, Adebayor, Eduardo, Nasri, Cesc and even Walcott who was a decent finisher. Look at the level of our individual attackers now and you’ll understand why our final third execution is so bad.

You literally said even if he wins the PL or CL… if he does that he should stay fuck good football if you don’t win.

I would agree normally but the Gabriel injury was a gut punch, the players lost confidence in their ability to squeeze high after that. Trying to do your normal buildup without your first choice CBs plus Ødegaard is tough. Ironically the goal came after we tried to attack

Do opposition fans get scared seeing Havertz, Trossard, Nelli, Merino, GJ & Sterling? 0 fear factor at all. It’s a safe day defending against those guys. A quiet walk in the park with a cup of tea in your hand.

Liverpool could be top of the table for 2/3 of the season and it wouldn't worry me. Manchester City could be 8 points behind us and it would give me nightmares.

Eddie Nketiah 0 goals 0 assists in 7 games now for Palace but I was called a hater for saying he’s not good enough for Arsenal. Where are the standards for AFC attackers these days?

Yep that’s a bigger net gain than replacing Havertz at 9 imo. Tbh Martinelli was never naturally a touchline winger anyway. I think of Walcott and even he had a much better range of finishing, better at creating separation and was much more intelligent with his movement.

The reason our squad doesn’t look elite even after the amount we’ve spent is because Arteta basis his signings on versatility rather than buying specialists. The Rondo said it perfectly.
