Great day so far on Táilte Tours CLG "The Great Southern Railway Centennial Railtour" including the first visit of a MK4 to Limerick Check in passenger service.

A very enjoyable railtour today and the first passenger run of a MK4 set to Limerick City. No fuss (having managed railtours before it can be a chore dealing with last minute issues), a relaxing day out and good company. Photos from the day at thewandererphotos.smugmug.com/RailtoursPrese…

Snowy scenes from around the network this morning. On the Foynes freight line, currently under construction; at Limerick Junction; and at Westport Station. Thanks to all our teams working to keep all trains moving. #sneachta #weatherwatch Transport for Ireland
