Jordan Teicher American 7s Football League (A7FL) Good article. As a football coach (who played rugby) I can certainly see a movement in this 7 on7 direction, in part because of the ease of set up/ no expensive kit , which opens the door to more players. Not just high school/ college route but also the lack of concussions.
