Good morning from Stokesay castle, apparently they have giants here, but I haven't seen any.... Stokesay is the best preserved fortified medieval fortress in England, having been built in the 13th century and set in the Shropshire with fabulous views. #tarlietravels
Wenlock Priory in Much Wenlock was founded in 680 as an Anglo Saxon monastery. It was then re-founded by the Normans as a Cluniac monastery in the 13th century. Sadly only the ruins remain but much of the Cluniac decoration can still be seen #tarlietravels English Heritage
