My sobriety is a priority for me, and Iโm not proud to say that it not always has been. One of the most important lessons Iโve learned in my life is that drugs and alcohol should never come before your health, family, or God.
Iโm honest and open about my sobriety because when I was younger, addiction wasnโt talked about very much. So I was ashamed and tried to hide or deny it. People need to be aware that itโs very common and that thereโs a way out, if you want it enough.
