I wasn't prepared to get buzzed by this #ShortearedOwl . Or at least the camera wasn't! And the owl seemed to have some sort of beef with me? By blowing on my call, I might of been messing up its evening hunt? He flew almost into my face and straight up in the air above me...

Still buzzing after seeing this gorgeous #ShortEaredOwl last night on the shores of Lough Corrib. I watched it for a full half hour at dusk just perched there. A male Hen Harrier came for a look too. Very low light but nice to capture them in the same frame. 🦉
