هذا الأسلوب في التربية يسمى Parentification وهذه بعض آثاره في مرحلة البلوغ:

maybe the reason why i cried over this so much was bc i see myself in staku’s character, especially what she went through growing up and being forced to be independent despite being not emotionally and developmentally prepared for that kind of parentification

I found it quite cathartic to see my own childhood simulated in the game. Even my SIMS child is stressed, kid me was so justified 😭

Parentification #OnHere seems to mainly mean children being responsible for their own siblings, but IMO learning to take responsibility for parents' feelings is the most impactful and damaging part. Your self identity becomes tied to how good you are at making others feel alright

Knowing what I know now, Naymond was really just a victim of parentification and a prime example of how yo pops can be around but still fail to raise you. and when you think abt it they all were just victims of their parent’s choices.
