Your fear of being seen is preventing you from doing the small things too.

The people benefitting from your brokenness will say you’re acting funny when you start your healing journey.

There is nothing you can tell me that a Black woman in leadership has done that has been worse than the things them “other” people do at work. NOTHNG

Because that would mean Black and Brown kids would be fed, too.

Black people live in a country that owes them a debt and yet demands they pay taxes annually.

Maybe taking care of yourself is so much harder than taking care of others because nobody taught you how to do it.

Turns out you didn’t need your ex. What you really desired was community support.
