just ornamentals, but then i realized i wanted to prune some of the lower limbs on the giant linden that's the centerpiece of our backyard to open things up

so i got one of those saws on a stick

We planted some lovely native plants last year trying to reclaim our yard a little from non-native ornamentals. I wasn't sure if it would live, as the deer went nuts & basically stripped it of all its leaves. But here it is in bloom #Gratitude #NativePlants #NativeGarden

Spent a few hours this morning clearing weeds out of one of the back garden flower beds. Decided I either need another 3 compost bins, need to weed more often so the weeds are smaller and/or just rebrand the weeds as flowers and forget sowing ornamentals.
