April is a busy time of year in the garden, if only it would stop raining! Here are a few things you could be getting on with 🙂 #GardenersWorld #Gardening #JobsForTheWeekend
#GardenersWorld #JobsForTheWeekend time. Getting busier now that Spring is (hopefully) really getting going. About a month or so of frost potential here still.
I suspect I'm in a minority of #GardenersWorld viewers (or at least tweeters) who don't really know much about this U2 band. But this chap is a gardener so who cares, eh?

Perlite is a non-renewable resource (its natural volcanic glass expanded at 1000ºC), so I wondered how sustainable it is as a long term horticultural growing medium. Turns out the current known supply is around 700 million tons. #GardenersWorld
Oh goodness I still need to find where my dahlias are. I know the tubers are somewhere out of the frosts but I've still not located them! #GardenersWorld
This chap with his self saved seeds and messy greenhouse is my kind of gardener. I think I'd get on jolly well with him. #GardenersWorld
I suspect most of us are getting fed up of 'significant rain' at the moment. #GardenersWorld
This tulip garden on #GardenersWorld is giving the Dutch a run for their money. (ducks whilst Ivonne Smit throws tulip bulbs in my direction... 🤣🤣 )
Having used a long handled bulb planter, sticking in 14,000 bulbs with one is still a massive, hard job. #GardenersWorld
