I've started extracting the stats on Molnupiravir and Paxlovid prescribing for Residential Aged Care facilities in Australia.

It reveals that Paxlovid is only being given to around 10-15% of Resident cases. Most cases are receiving Molnupiravir.

Mike Honey You can only prescribe Molnupiravir if Paxlovid is contraindicated. PBS, a recent change. So perhaps the stats will alter a bit in aged care over time, with more Pax prescribed. Obviously there will be some elderly people who just can't take Pax. Drug interactions, renal, etc.
