Uganda made significant progress in the reduction of
stigma and discrimination against the People Living
with HIV. External stigma and discrimination reduced
from 24% in 2013 to 1.3% in 2019.
More efforts are still required to reduce internal stigma.

To end the HIV/AIDS pandemic by 2030, it requires that the young people are at the forefront of advocacy and this can be achieved by including them in all programming & equipping them with the right information about HIV/AIDs prevention and awareness.

Although the HIV/AIDS pandemic seems to have been forgotten, HIV still exists and is associated with a lot of stigma. Teenage girls and young women are the major targets of the new infections, therefore test yourself and stay away from risky behavior. #iKnowKatiUG
