A walk out of Martindale, past the old quarry at Low Dodd and the Low Moss Sheepfold onto the summit of Place Fell. Returning along the Patterdale bridleway in Boredale. Didn’t manage to dodge the rain. #LakeDistrict 😊🥾
On a ride-along with South Shropshire SNT's PCSO Shaun Culliss visiting Soudley Woods where local users have expressed concern of off-roading on the bridleway section before the by-way which is not legal. Please respect local communities and seek permission from land owners before use.
Secret Squirrel Stonor Park and Gardens On the map it is bridleway a bit further. The point for me is there are several paths that wd easily support a bike/horses.
I am tired of these people hoarding our natural resources
Penny Short I keep stumbling across the pennine bridleway, must make the effort to complete it! Fingerpost Friday
David Nicholls I just wanted to congratulate you on a joyous new book. I just loved it. I’m a teacher who loves rambling and David Nicholls novels, so you can imagine my reaction. You are a gem! I will be shouting about You Are Here from every public bridleway. Thank you!
such things as dreams are made of 山 Stonor Park and Gardens Was that “footpath” at the end of the bridleway?
Secret Squirrel Stonor Park and Gardens …if you look at the bridleway sign you can see the private sign a bit further down. I have blown it up effectively
Unbelievably, this photo was taken on a public bridleway! Some parts of our precious #GreenBelt are being allowed to deteriorate & this decline in quality is then being used by some as justification for their proposed loss to development. See our campaign

A morning walk with MarburyBirds included watching Debbie make arrangements with Odette (Mrs Swan) and then wallow in the mud for a good angle for the photoshoot in front of the church. Also the biggest Public Bridleway sign in the UK and some nice country-lane flowers.
Ruth Dinsdale Glad you found it ok 🤩 it’s a great bridleway. Apparently grazed by cows sometimes so you need to have a careful lookout
