Parklets outside of school gates is a fantastic idea. Children and parents normally cluster outside the gates and it stops ignorant parents who ignore parking restrictions and park right outside the school.

I know it must be incredibly difficult cleaning up after the marathon but TCS London Marathon but the amount of discarded gels all over the road still is a joke. Greenwich and Southwark (Jamaica Road) particularly bad. Lewisham excellent and road cleaner there today.
