Does it feel like there's been a lot of snow melt as of late around Anchorage? Here at our office, our snow depth has dropped down from 22 to 3 inches since April 9th!
With highs in the 50s the next couple of days, more melting should be on the way! #AKWX#Spring
👀Excessive runoff from snowmelt could lead to water from Moose Creek near Glennallen to rise out of its banks. People in the area should stay alert, prepare, & move belongings within the floodplain to higher ground. #AKwx
Good Morning, SE AK. We are starting off the morning with clouds across most of the panhandle. These clouds are expected to clear out throughout the day. Meanwhile, a marine layer continues to build along the outer coast with high pressure moving in. #akwx

With some cooler temperatures and isolated rain showers through tomorrow afternoon. We should be returning to the low 60s Fri and staying there through the weekend. #akwx
The Anchorage FAA Webcam caught a lovely little sundog this morning! ☀️ **Sundogs are colorful spots of light developed via refraction of light through ice crystals.
