A 5 ways fingerpost in Huntingdonshire (with a spelling mistake, the village is Gt.Raveley not Gt.Graveley). Lovely walks round that area with a nature reserve, historic church of St. Andrew's Woodwalton and woods with bluebells this time of year.

Some interesting records from the Great Fen this year. First recent record of Peltodytes caesus (NS and declining). Known historically from Whittlesey Mere and surroundings, with one pre-1960 record from Woodwalton Fen NNR.

The Rothschild Way from Woodwalton Fen to Wicken Fen. Commemorating the wildlife conservation work of Charles Rothschild, who bought them in 1899 and 1910. He then went on to become a major pioneer in developing the wildlife conservation movement in the UK.

Vast numbers of Dicyphus tamaninii on waterside Epilobium hirsutum along the Maxey Cut, just N of Peterborough. No sign of the usually abundant Dicyphus epilobii. Same results at Woodwalton Fen NNR. Has anyone else observed a similar change? Tristan Bantock
