Some interesting records from the Great Fen this year. First recent record of Peltodytes caesus (NS and declining). Known historically from Whittlesey Mere and surroundings, with one pre-1960 record from Woodwalton Fen NNR.

Vast numbers of Dicyphus tamaninii on waterside Epilobium hirsutum along the Maxey Cut, just N of Peterborough. No sign of the usually abundant Dicyphus epilobii. Same results at Woodwalton Fen NNR. Has anyone else observed a similar change? Tristan Bantock
