In Maths this week, #StainesPrepYear3 have been exploring tenths. We used the cubes to represent as many different ways as we could find to represent tenths up to a whole.
Our Geography lesson took us deeper into Rainforest. #StainesPrepYear3 learned about the different tribes and their way of living. We decorated masks inspired by different tribes; we designed fierce, bold and animal like masks.
In #StainesPrepFrench , the pupils in Year 3 have been practising their speaking skills and learning how to talk about where they live. Their pronunciation skills are really developing! #StainesPrepPride #StainesPrepYear3

#StainesPrepYear3 are reading The Chocolate Tree, a Maya Folktale. This morning they made Mayan hot chocolate and thought it was delicious.
Earlier this week, Jungle Jonathan's Roadshow came to visit #StainesPrepYear3 . He brought lots of different creepy crawlies which can be found in rainforests around the world. The children thoroughly enjoyed holding and stroking them, as well as asking lots of questions!
