Don’t you wonder sometimes
‘Bout sound and vision?
Blue, blue electric blue
That’s the colour of my room
Where I will live
Blue Blue
Pale blinds drawn all day
Nothing to do
Nothing to say
Blue Blue

You can't only read the voices of the past, you can also hear them! Here is a clip of Walter Green of Bamford talking about being a grocer and making deliveries in the Bamford/Bradfield area in the 1920s; just shows that home deliveries are nothing new!

As far as I'm aware this is the only record we have that is actually a record. This is S67/5/6/1 78 RPM record labelled 'Liff Road School Song'. Its not dated but its probably from the 1950s. I wonder what it sounds like. ARA Scotland

As an artist in residence at the Woodland Park Zoo in 1994, Constance DeJong created an installation made of sound -- played on laserdisc, naturally. 😆

The installation came to be known as the Talking Benches.

Our Am Baile - Highland History & Culture offers a huge range of online . Including one of our favourite photographic collection Duncan MacPherson. Here is a sample of some film we had conserved & digitised, could this be the first camper van coming to Skye?😉
