The Larpool Viaduct at Whitby is another nice example of #RailwayArchitecture .

The Milton Road swimming baths were featured on this evening's episode of 'The Architecture The Railways Built'. Built in 1892, the Medical Fund Society also housed Turkish & Russian Baths, a dispensary and a dentist. This photo shows female swimmers c.1900.

I am v sad that Tuesday evenings will now be devoid of the enthusiasm of Tim Dunn #RailwayArchitecture Yesterday Channel. I have learnt so much over the past weeks and thought tonight's ep was a corker. Jubilee Line concrete/soil and NHS beginnings=new fantastic facts!
