Elliptical stone and brick road-over-rail bridge at Duleek former railway station on the old GNRI line to Oldcastle. The original beautiful iron gate designed by the company's engineers is also still there! I had to brave a few rats to get these pics...

I'll be joining Tim Dunn tonight on a Metro-Land odyssey to Watford via the ever joyful series. Marvel at our height difference from 8 on Yesterday.

A nice stone accommodation bridge that once carried the Brymbo - Coed Talon branch railway over a bridle path just north of Ffrith Limeworks Siding. Not carried trains since 1950.

The Milton Road swimming baths were featured on this evening's episode of 'The Architecture The Railways Built'. Built in 1892, the Medical Fund Society also housed Turkish & Russian Baths, a dispensary and a dentist. This photo shows female swimmers c.1900.

The second (I think?) of the noughties Network Rail modular stations, Mitcham Eastfields of 2008.
I have (a lot of) opinions on this model of modular station, but for now it suffices to note that the design already looks dated.
(Also โ€œastfieldsโ€: whoops)

Another highly enjoyable odyssey by Tim Dunn tonight. Particularly enjoyed , where my parents had their first home together. Hereโ€™s the station with my Mum in 1963.

I am v sad that Tuesday evenings will now be devoid of the enthusiasm of Tim Dunn Yesterday Channel. I have learnt so much over the past weeks and thought tonight's ep was a corker. Jubilee Line concrete/soil and NHS beginnings=new fantastic facts!
