Both express neuroendocrine markers (eg. INSM-1), and nested architecture (see picture👇)

However, paragangliomas are (generally):
Cytokeratin negative
GATA3 positive.

People living with #pheochromocytoma & #paraganglioma have significantly lower #TrabecularBoneScore , increased bone turnover markers & impaired #bone health.
Some recovery does happen post #surgical #cure .
These people deserve to be #handled with #care to prevent #fractures ;

-If it's hypervascular
-If there's bone erosion with middle ear component
- If the ENT doc tell us about unilateral pulsatile tinnitus
