Earlier this month 120+ nations and 3,000+ delegates gathered together at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Cultural Centre to address urgent threats to our oceans, hosted by Our Ocean Greece

The event concluded with a total of 469 new commitments made globally, worth over an estimated $11,3 billion.

“We’ve gathered here to speak the language of water. If we nurture the ocean, she will nurture us.” Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Folks, inspired attendees of the 9th Our Ocean Greece film festival to connect with our shared purpose to protect the ocean.
