More like August than May here earlier - no breeze and very humid. Cooler now. A walk around going no more than 100m from the house has yielded 25 bird species. The rarest - possibly a magpie. #blackisle #morayfirth

Headed to Ardersier this afternoon. Nice to see a few bottlenose dolphins out in the Firth and a lot of gannets. There were a lot of gulls, greylag geese & red breasted merganser at Connage.
