I made a homemade moth trap as part of my The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award skills. I put it out for the first time last night. I was really excited to find 11 moths this morning, 6 different species. Hopefully I have got all the IDs correct! British Moths #Moth #MothTrap #Scotland #ScottishHighlands
After a busy summer it’s time to catch up on some journaling. Back in June during BTO Scotland Bird Camp one of our activities involved looking for birds nests. We found a bullfinch nest, lots of dunnocks nests & a possible lesser whitethroat nest area.
