Ending #MenstrualStigma is crucial for the safety of girls everywhere. Proud to see the #Hike4GirlsUg initiative unite various actors and well-wishers to break the stigma around menstruation and provide much-needed support with pads to girls🩸
Girls worldwide miss 10-20% of school days per year due to lack of menstrual supplies, inadequate sanitation, toilets, period pain, or social stigma, according to the World Bank. Join this conversation to educate girls and put an end to #menstrualstigma #MenstrualHygieneDay
Empowering girls worldwide is a shared responsibility. Let's unite to #EndChildMarriage ,ensuring every girl has the right to choose her future. Break the silence on #MenstrualStigma ; education and understanding pave the way for a more inclusive and equal world.

#PeriodPoverty and #MenstrualStigma harm girls’ development and #HumanRights . Yesterday in Agbobloshie I met these amazing young women educating their friends on adolescent health thanks to French Government support. Australia and France are on the same page on #GenderEquality .
Periods are a normal bodily function. We don't have to be ashamed of them and talk more about them. Our #confidencekit is one of the tools used at the forefront of the fight against #MenstrualStigma . Especially among rural girls...

#MenstrualStigma remains pervasive in many societies, where a culture of silence creates barriers for adolescent girls to manage their menstruation in a safe and dignified manner. This is not only a health concern but is intrinsically linked to social justice and gender equality.
Period equity lies at the core of women's public health. Adolescents who depend on schools for product are no longer able to access these supplies. Our mission is to tackle #PeriodPoverty by getting products to people in need while also educating about ending #MenstrualStigma
These young girls in Kisoro were supported with Sanitary products after the #Hike4GirlsUg event.
Their lives will definitely not remain the same.
We appreciate Gejja Women Foundation for donating the Sanitary products.
Thank you so much:
