As part of its 'Nimble & Proactive Presence' peacekeeping strategy, UNMISS, recently inducted INDBATT II as part of integrated patrol entrusted to spearhead 'Nimble and Proactive Strategy' in Akobo. Patrol base has become a symbol of hope for peace & stability.

Ambassador Noor Rahman Sheikh witnessed the Transfer of Authority from INDBATT XXIV to XXV as Guest of Honour at Ebel El Saqi in South Lebanon today; also unveiled the Insignia for Commemoration of 25 years of India’s participation in UNIFIL.

INDBATT II (8 BIHAR) troops had the previlage to showcase the cultural Chhau dance of Jharkhand on the eve of 75th Independence Day Celebrations at Indian Embassy in Juba, South Sudan.
