It was seriously murky out there today, but the lack of biting wind made it more bearable! Took a trip to #SomersetLevels (mainly looking for #Waxwings on #Mistletoe. I drew a blank). Still a lot of water, #Cranes, a couple of #GreenWoodpeckers & other stuff...#BurrowMump

It was the greyest of days on the #SomersetLevels, but there was still loads of life. From #SwellWoods the clarion call of #Cranes rang out, but cldn't see them until #Oath. #Treecreepers, #Goldcrests, #Egrets #GreenWoodpeckers, #GSWs and hundreds of #Thrushes. Fab. Somerset Wildlife Trust
