Fabulous to see this small Grass snake in my garden #wildlifepond this afternoon (after I found a slow worm in the garden yesterday!) I hadn’t seen one here for a few years. It let me take photos then slipped back under the water. Look out newts! Amphibian and Reptile Conservation #GardenDragonWatch
We've had a number of reports of male newts with crests, ready for the breeding season. Have you checked your own pond for newts yet? Now might be a good time to start the #GardenDragonWatch !

Day 9 #30DaysWild - early evening is my favourite time to spy on the pond as it appears to be the best time to spot wildlife. Did this newt just blow a raspberry at me? 😆 #GardenDragonWatch #30DaysWild from The Wildlife Trusts Amphibian and Reptile Conservation The Wildlife Trusts Cornwall Wildlife Trust 〓〓
To quote Terry, hubs.ly/Q016bQ3l0, 'March is a time when #toads and #frogs get busy and you may be lucky enough to come across a clump of frog spawn or a string of toad spawn.' Look at this beauty, photographed by one of our team #AskTerry #biodiversity #GardenDragonWatch
