
The 'Feriale Duranum', found at #DuraEuropos, is a list of the religious observances of the #Roman army, probably dating to the reign of #SeverusAlexander (AD220s/30s). It includes days to sacrifice to traditional deities (Jupiter, Mars) as well as members of the Imperial family.


A favourite of mine from the Museo Arquelogico Nacional in Madrid: a Roman period articulated bone doll. I will be posting more on the bone dolls from #Duraeuropos, my particular area of research, on Day 54. #MuseumsUnlockedDan Hicks
