A Revolutionary #ArchivesSnapshot 📸
Many veterans of the American Revolution who lived into the age of photography can be seen in the Museum's final gallery. The last known Revolutionary War veterans died shortly after the Civil War, still many had their photograph taken.
Photographer Singleton L. Harris (1922-2005) served with the 449th Signal Construction Battalion during WWII. While stationed in Italy in 1944, he took a photography by mail course and documented the people and places he saw. 1/2 #ArchivesSnapshot
