This weekend Team Armstead hosted our 1st celebrity basketball game, and our 9th youth football camp, but the real star of the show was Xavier Jones! This young man walked 6 miles to school and to his own graduation, with a 4.0 gpa!

The 14-year-old student from St. Louis said his grandfather’s car was not working, but was determined to walk across the stage and get his diploma. Terron, who grew up nearby, got Xavier a new e-bike as a reward for his resiliency. 💪

The surprises certainly did not stop there. Terron gifted Xavier’s grandfather a new van. 🧡
