Thanks to the Boys & Girls Club of the Coastal Plains for sharing a donation of hand sanitizer tubs with the Carteret County Public School System. Boxes were delivered to our schools this week for use by students and staff. Dr. Rob Jackson

East Carteret High School received the NC High School Athletic Association Commissioner’s Cup for Community Service. This recognition was for the school’s support of Ocracoke School after Hurricane Dorian. Neighbors helping neighbors.

Carteret County Schools Child Nutrition received $49,000 in grant funds from two nonprofit groups. The funds will help with meal distribution to students when they are not in school. Way to go Melissa Albright and CN Team!
