More signs of spring. It might still be winter, but the daffodils don’t care. They’re ready for some colour and so am I! #daffodils #spring #springiscoming

Happy Sunday! The first two new self watering baskets have been installed! These will be a great help this summer. Many thanks to @ACoRPOffice for the funding that’s paying for these! #communityrail

It may be cold outside, and this lavender may be finished (for now) but there’s still colour and beauty to be found! #bokeh_bliss #bokehlicious #bokehflowers #lavender

It’s frosty out today! We had our next two self watering baskets ready to go in, but the frost has left the soil in the old baskets solid!

Hey folks! Spring must be on the way! I found these lovely crocuses at St Peter St Paul today. Not much sun, but it peeked out just a little!

Can’t help but love all the #blossoms in the trees. The cold, wet and wind isn’t enough to make me feel any less like spring!

The cold spell seemed to relent a bit today and the sun was shining! Blossoms at our lovely little train station are looking great! #instabloom #leicestershire #leicester #bbcleicester

The chives are back! Part of the allium family, like shallots, these are beautiful and delicious. The grass is great with sour cream and the flowers themselves are decorative and oniony for a salad!

This is a variety of Echinacea (also known as coneflower) I’ve always found the cone interesting, apparently the person who named it felt the same, as Echinacea means sea urchin.
