Last week our Synod Office was privileged to have Southern Cultural Immersion lead us through an art workshop and walking tours for our Community and Learning Day. It was an engaging and informative way to learn more about First Nations perspectives on culture, history and land.

✝️ 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 While Good Friday marks the execution of Jesus, we call it ‘good’ because this event reveals God’s extraordinary love. Through his death, Jesus opened the way for reconciliation with God and harmony between people and all creation. 📖 Romans 5:8

🙏 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 In this time of waiting, Jesus’ friends are processing their grief. Some tend to his body; others hide in locked rooms. Between the anguish of death and the promise of resurrection, we hold space for moments when hope feels distant. 📖 Psalm 130:5

🌅 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 Happy Easter! Today, we celebrate the joy of Jesus’ resurrection. Easter Sunday promises a future of renewed, everlasting life, but it also offers hope today. Suffering doesn’t have the final word – God’s love is stronger than death. 📖 John 11:25
