Many individuals have requested copies of the emails I sent this morning to my colleagues in the Liberal caucus and the President of the Liberal Party of Canada. For the purpose of transparency, please find them attached.

My two cents: politics doesn't always need to be exciting. To Canadians voting this year (for Lib leader or in federal election), carefully examine the person's policy platform and track record. Never mind the sizzle. It's overrated. Look for the steak. That's what matters.

Mark Carney's official campaign launch for Liberal leader included high praise from supporters and some unexpected moments behind the scenes, including a glitchy Teleprompter, a mysterious limousine booking and police showing up on scene. cbc.ca/news/politics/…

He's all in. ✅For the environment. ✅For the economy. ✅For Canadians. Mark Carney is the right person for Canada’s future and this is why I am supporting him as the next leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.

Memo to federal New Democrats (and especially ones with prominent podcasts): Mark Carney is not a “former hedge fund manager”. Brookfield Asset Management is NOT a hedge fund. It’s not even close to one. Pretending otherwise is a tell.

Not on this site much anymore but - for those who remain to hold the fort, here are some thoughts in tomorrow's The Globe and Mail. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl…

It’s hard to know what’s going on if you haven’t been showing up. We tabled legislation last week to tackle hate crimes in Canada, and we’ve got two more new criminal laws coming this Fall. One to reform bail and sentencing, another to address intimate partner violence.

Great meeting with Premier Tim Houston today, to talk about the new Major Projects Office and the massive opportunities it will create for Nova Scotian workers and businesses.   We're focused on cutting costs, creating high-paying jobs, and getting big things built across N.S.

More than five million Canadians are now covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan.   That’s huge relief for the millions of Canadians who can now get the dental care they need, without worrying about the cost.

Anyone who believes Scott Anderson was approached by the Liberal Party of Canada to cross the floor is a few bricks short of a load. Anderson was vehemently protesting the ostrich cull. There’s no way any Liberal worth his/her membership would approach a Con extremist.

On Marilyn Gladu, the least defensible of the floor crossings, how to square terrible beliefs with her Liberal caucus membership, and why the difference between peace time and war time matters quite a lot here

Everyone can easily recognize the origin of this demand is labour and the radically progressive left. Unions, labour organizations and well meaning social justice advocates are inadvertently putting the AB & Canada public healthcare system in greater peril, not less peril.
